The blank-canvas problem is the single biggest depressor of personalization conversion. A customer arrives at the designer with no idea where to start; many leave without configuring anything.
The template library solves this by giving customers a starting point. They pick a template, then customize text and images. Conversion rate on templated flows is typically two to three times the rate of blank-canvas flows.
What ships
PrintIntegrator includes a starter library of ~400 templates across common product categories: business cards, flyers, posters, brochures, invitations, postcards, stationery, t-shirts, mugs. Templates are tagged for filtering — modern, classic, minimal, photography, wedding, professional service, restaurant, real estate, etc.
You add your own templates through Sanity. Each template carries its own personalization rules, so a "Modern Real Estate" business card template can lock the logo placement that makes it modern.
Tagging and discovery
Customers filter the library by style, color palette, and use case. Search runs across template name, description, and tags. A real estate agent looking for a clean, modern card finds three candidates without scrolling past a hundred unrelated designs.
Updating templates
Editing a template in Sanity updates the library entry but does not touch already-purchased designs. Customers who already saved a personalized version of a template keep their saved version exactly as it was. New customers see the updated template.
