Product update: what shipped in PrintIntegrator Q2 2026

A summary of the features and improvements that shipped in the April–June 2026 release cycle.

PrintIntegrator Team · Product & engineering

Quarterly product updates summarize what shipped in the previous release cycle. This is the Q2 2026 update — April through June. Detailed changelogs are in the docs; this post highlights the changes that customers most often asked about.

3D preview: custom model upload

Shops can now upload custom 3D models (glTF, OBJ, FBX) for products that don't ship with a stock model. The model needs UV unwrap — clean meshes work out of the box, complex meshes get a one-time prep step from our team.

Use cases customers asked for: branded drinkware shapes, custom packaging dielines, region-specific apparel cuts. Shipped in May.

Bulk CSV designer: preview rows expanded

The bulk-order CSV flow previously rendered the first 3 rows as preview designs. We expanded this to the first 10 rows by default, configurable up to 50.

The change came out of customer interviews where the most common bulk-flow issue was customers not catching CSV errors until row 30 or 40 (e.g., a column-mapping error that only affected a subset of rows).

Designer performance: WebGL renderer rewrite

The designer renderer was rewritten to a single-pass WebGL implementation. Result: 40-60% lower mobile battery drain, 25% faster first-paint on the designer, and meaningfully better performance on five-year-old phones.

Shipped in May after a 4-week beta on opt-in storefronts. Now default for all customers.

Admin dashboard: customer-segment reports

New report set under Reports → Customer segments. Shows revenue, AOV, order frequency, and repeat-customer rate broken down by:

  • New vs returning customer
  • Customer cohort (acquisition month)
  • Storefront (for multi-storefront deployments)
  • Country
  • Customer tag (any custom tags you apply in admin)

Integration: QuickBooks Online direct

Native QuickBooks Online integration shipped in June. Orders push as invoices, payments push as received payments, refunds push as credit memos. Configurable income accounts per product category.

Previously QuickBooks integration required a Zapier intermediary. Direct integration removes that dependency and the associated Zapier subscription cost.

Smaller improvements

  • Sanity CMS upgraded to v3.99 with auto-update path to v4 ready
  • Default font library expanded to 120 web-safe + Google Fonts
  • Multi-language UI added Polish, Vietnamese, and Hebrew
  • Mobile designer: pinch-to-zoom now respects safe-area insets on iOS
  • Preflight: PDF/A compliance check added as optional rule
  • Webhook payloads: signature header now uses HMAC-SHA256

Coming in Q3

Brief look ahead at Q3 priorities, in rough order:

- Sanity v4 migration path (Sanity ships v4 in July; we'll have a tested upgrade path within 30 days)
- AI-assisted preflight suggestions (resolution upscaling, font fallback recommendations)
- Designer multiplayer mode (multiple designers collaborating on a single design — for agency clients with multi-person approval workflows)
- New region: Singapore-hosted option for APAC customers

As always, the public roadmap lives in the docs; customer-specific roadmap conversations happen during quarterly business reviews on Enterprise contracts.
